This is a sensitive issue. One does not speak of alcohol without the horror stories of addiction, drunk driving, lost lives and lost dreams. Those who practice a fit lifestyle often question the effects of drinking on their body, longevity, appearance, etc. Let’s just say that denial is the biggest killer and excess is the deadliest poison. I don’t want to belabor this.

Rather than research this area forever,.. I prefer to enjoy the works of others who have capsulized, with common sense, what drinking does. This article is very well done and rather than be repetitive or boring… I’d suggest you read it. Then read it again. Take notes… look at your food intake.. your habits, your workouts, your body leanness and make decisions based on math, macronutrients and function, versus anecdote, hyperbole and myth.
